Ingredients
  

  • 1 can refried beans (smooth base layer)
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey (optional) (seasoned with taco seasoning)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened for smooth blending)
  • 1 cup sour cream (adds tangy flavor)
  • 1-2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 small can black olives (sliced for topping)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (adds freshness)
  • 1-2 tomatoes (diced for topping)

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook the Meat (If Using)

  • Simmer for a few minutes until well coated.

Step 2: Layer the Beans

  • Spread refried beans evenly in a shallow serving dish.

Step 3: Prepare the Creamy Layer

  • Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning in a bowl until smooth.
  • Spread this mixture over the beans evenly.

Step 4: Add the Meat (If Using)

  • Layer the cooked seasoned ground beef/turkey over the cream cheese mixture.

Step 5: Sprinkle the Cheese

  • Evenly distribute shredded cheese on top of the meat layer.

Step 6: Top with Fresh Ingredients

  • Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced black olives for extra flavor.
